Silvia Marchesan

A researcher and associate professor in the Department of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Trieste, Silvia Marchesan has research experience in laboratories in Edinburgh, Melbourne, Helsinki, and London. Her work with peptides, nanomaterials, and superstructures has earned her major international recognition and citation by the prestigious scientific journal Nature among the world's 11 emerging scientists. Today she divides her time between working in the laboratory she heads and teaching.
