Mauro Moroni

In 2004, Mauro founded Moroni & Partners, a company specializing in energy conversion and energy efficiency technologies, with a primary focus on renewable energies, including solar, wind, hydro, biomass, and hydrogen. He served as CEO for over 15 years and transformed the company into a leading provider of Technical Advisory and Engineering services in the Renewable Energy sector in Italy, with over 15GW of experience in Europe.
In 2007, he founded Esfera Energia and became its CEO, a company that develops software for energy market operators. This includes clients like Power One, ABB, FIMER, Shunda Italia, Catobo, and Riello.
In 2017, he ventured into digital marketing and served as CEO for www.pvshield.com, a lead generator that connects supply and demand for photovoltaic products and services, focusing on domestic installations. He also launched www.gardensharing.it, an outdoor tourism marketplace in the same year.
In 2019, he sold pvshield.com to Zanotti Energy Group and Moroni & Partners to the Dutch certification multinational company Kiwa.
From 2021 to August 2022, he worked as the Energy Transition Ambassador at Kiwa and was a member of the Kiwa Moroni Board of Directors, focusing on strategic planning for international development, M&A activities, and integration of acquired companies in the energy sector.
Since January 2021, he has led the Green Hydrogen Working Group at Italia Solare, Italy's leading photovoltaic association.
In 2022, he founded Elettrica Wave, a company specializing in energy nautical applications, with an emphasis on retrofitting internal combustion engines into electrical and hybrid engines.
He also works as an independent consultant for strategic business development planning, market analysis, and communication, drawing on his extensive knowledge of the energy market and related technologies.
He has authored numerous contributions published in Qualenergia.it, PV Magazine, and Solare B2B, and has served as a speaker and lecturer at various conferences and courses on energy and ecological transition.
