His current research interests include distributed and semantic data warehouses, business intelligence on open data and social data, and big data.
He has coordinated multiple national and international research projects in these areas. He is actively involved in technology transfer in the field of business intelligence, collaborating with both public and private Italian companies, and has served as scientific coordinator for numerous industrial research agreements.
