Architect & Designer
Francesca Flavia Bruzio is an architect specializing in bio-architecture and glulam (glue-laminated timber) structures. Since 2013, she has been one of the first 24 ARCA (Architettura Comfort Ambiente) accredited designers in Rovereto, and one of the first seven in the structural engineering field.
She has a strong passion for the restoration and reuse of existing buildings and founded a company called Legnorprogettazione, which provides design consultancy for both new civil buildings and the renovation of existing structures, according to the principles of bio-architecture inspired by Hundertwasser, with particular attention to acoustic and environmental comfort, as well as the LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) cycle.
Later, starting in 2020, alongside her work as an architect, she began a new path in public education as an Art and Image teacher, and subsequently as a Product Design teacher. She currently teaches at Liceo Canova in Forlì. Within the school context, she has come to understand the importance of teaching as a tool to educate and support young minds in developing and expressing their abilities.
She strongly believes in active peer collaboration, especially among younger generations.
