He is a journalist, writer, comic book artist, and illustrator, but first and foremost, he is a sailor. A self-taught sailor, he has sailed with renowned sailors such as Bruno Peyron, Skip Novak, Alain Gabbay, and Mauro Pelaschier, taking on every role on every type of boat. He has won several major regattas, including the Giraglia, Barcolana, Millevele, and Roma per tutti. Born in Milan in 1963, he was a successful advertiser until 2015, when he moved to Lerici, in Liguria, to be closer to his boats and dedicate himself entirely to writing and drawing. He has published seventeen illustrated books and collaborated on numerous other works, as well as with leading industry and generalist publications. A skilled cook, during the COVID-19 lockdown, he wrote a comic cookbook. Since 2022, he has been sailing the Italian seas with his vintage boat, teaching sailing and drawing to children supported by Save The Children and other charitable organizations. He regularly gives conferences on his profession and frequently participates in team-building activities based on sailing.
