Valeria Cantoni Mamiani
Leading by Heart
With studies in philosophy, psychoanalysis, and restorative justice, she taught for 18 years at the Catholic University of Milan and is a humanistic conflict mediator and personal and managerial development consultant for organizations.
In 2021, she founded Leading by Heart, a managerial school that develops an inclusive and empathetic leadership style. She works at the intersection of arts, philosophy, and psychoanalytic disciplines, creating cultural projects and learning paths focused on the holistic development of individuals.
In 2023, she founded The Why Way, a transformative project that brings together people who know how to ask questions and work towards the transformation of themselves and their communities, expressing their artistic, cultural, philosophical, and project-based passions.
She has published several essays and books, including 'Leadership of Care: From Control to Relationships' (Vita e Pensiero 2021), where she explains why and how a new form of leadership—one that is caring, present, engaging, attentive, and capable of empowering others—can be practiced today.
