An expert in mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, I assist leading Italian and multinational companies in significant domestic and international transactions. I represent companies preparing for stock market listing and related transactions.

I have gained significant experience in corporate and commercial law with specific expertise in the area of joint ventures, acquisitions and divestitures of investee companies by investment funds and the formation, drafting and negotiation of related contracts. They counsel multinational companies in relevant commercial arbitration proceedings before major arbitral institutions.

Before joining Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners, I worked in Bologna and was founder of the law firm Buccarelli & Dettori.

I was an adjunct professor at the Summer School of Loyola Law School in Los Angeles at which I taught Alternative Dispute Resolution and at the Summer School of Golden Gate University in San Francisco at which I taught Comparative International Trade Law.

I hold a law degree from the University of Bologna and attended the LL.M. Program at Queen Mary & Westfield College in London. He is a member of the Law Society and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) in London.
