Giacomo Giulietti

Founder of LLiquida, journalist, and traditional sailing instructor

I was born very young and I intend to live until the last of my days.
I have been a journalist since 1998 and a professional since 2005 (but don’t tell my mother, she’s convinced I play the clarinet at the subway station). I have been a communication and PR consultant since 2000 and a marketing consultant since 2009 for dozens of nautical companies. Today, I write for Pressmare and Bmi Mag. I have collaborated with: Il Sole 24 Ore, Repubblica-L'Espresso, Rcs, QN-Quotidiano Nazionale, Rizzoli Publishing, Il Giornale di Sicilia, Rusconi, Hachette, Hearst, Panama Editore, International Yachting Media, Vela e Motore. I was the Italian juror for the international award Best of Boats Awards for 7 years. I am an instructor for the Italian Sailing Federation in sailing, wing, and windsurfing. I founded the Nidea Wind School in Marina di Grosseto and manage a school in the PKS group, where I am responsible for the sailing section. I was a professional sailor, serving as a bowman, from 1998 to 2001. Among my titles, in 2000, I won the 12-meter S.I. World Championship in St. Tropez (France) aboard Tomahawk.
They let me write three books:
· Vela - Manuale pratico per prendere il mare (Ed. Giunti).
· Big Sailing - La grande vela (Ed. Gribaudo) with Carlo Borlenghi.
· Kitesurf, windsurf, surf e sup (Ed. De Vecchi - Giunti).
From 2014 to 2016, I was the publisher and co-director of the online magazine Sailing & Travel. In 2015, a jury decided to award me the Carlo Marincovich Journalism and Literary Award. I have two children and a partner, and I love them, even more than metasemantic poetry. Then enough, I got bored of myself too.
