Mayor of the City of Cesena
Born in Cesena on February 9, 1988, he is the father of two children. In 2012, he earned his Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Bologna with a thesis in Constitutional Law. In 2017, he completed a Ph.D. in Constitutional Law at the same university. From 2009 to 2013, he served as a City Councilor in Cesena, and from 2013 to 2018, he was a Member of Parliament during the 17th Legislature, participating in the First Committee “Constitutional Affairs and the Prime Minister's Office” and the Chamber of Deputies Election Committee.
From 2018 to 2020, he collaborated with the Constitutional Law Department at the University of Bologna. On June 9, 2019, he was elected Mayor of Cesena and, on July 19, 2019, became President of the Union of Municipalities of the Savio Valley (a position he held until July 30, 2024). On December 18, 2021, he was elected President of the Province of Forlì-Cesena. Since February 2023, he has been a member of the European Committee of the Regions in Brussels, representing UPI (Union of Italian Provinces). In the municipal elections of June 8 and 9, 2024, he was re-elected Mayor of Cesena.
