Undergraduate Physical Science and Technology

A graduate student in Physical Science and Technology, I dream of becoming a researcher and communicator, because I believe in choosing words, because with the right ones you can change things.

I have been divulging sustainability since 2016 from a qualitative but especially quantitative point of view, because in order to consciously choose, it is important to know the metrics of sustainability, from LCA assessments to certifications adopted by companies. I have worked with brands and companies as small as very large, committed to sustainable development in different ways. I have been a speaker and content creator for Ikea, but I have also narrated the first shoes from recycled and recyclable materials produced in Portugal by Vesica Piscis Footwear. I like to tell about science and sustainability through numbers and through visual journaling, infographics and concept maps, and this is because I try to alternate the abstract with the concrete, since as rigorous as science may seem to me it remains the most beautiful form of poetry of reality. I have dealt with perceptions of waste, with waste separation as a cultural issue, with consumer and citizen awareness and critical thinking, with sustainability across the board, in fashion as in food. I have done this by writing articles, speaking on radio, speaking on a podcast, posting on social media.
