Andrea Liverani

Always a passionate sportsman, devoted mainly to basketball, Andrea Liverani had to get back into the game following a serious car accident in his 20s. After a year-long hospitalization and a difficult rehabilitation that did not allow him to recover the use of his legs, Andrea got back into the sport, approaching it from a new point of view. He returned to the basketball court, joining the Briantea 84 team and learning it all over again, but also approaching, almost by accident, shooting in 2014 and falling in love with it. That's how, between two degrees and a job as a welfare consultant, he gets excellent results as a shooter, joining the Italian Paralympic National Shooting Team. It was in this discipline that he won dozens of medals, including 13 gold, as well as six Italian, two European and two world records. An excellent example of sport as passion and revenge, Andrea is also the author of an autobiographical novel.
