Alessandro Bonaccorsi

Designer, writer, and trainer, expert in Visual Thinking

Alessandro Bonaccorsi is an illustrator, writer, and trainer. He explores drawing in all its forms, studying and practicing it for years, using it as a tool for training and consulting. For over ten years, he has employed Visual Thinking techniques at events, conferences, and focus groups, both nationally and internationally.

He is the creator of the Disegno Brutto Project, a philosophical journey that invites people who believe they cannot draw to do so through a liberating practice that blends imagination, instinct, and art. In recent years, he has conducted over 200 courses and workshops across Italy, organized either independently or in collaboration with companies, associations, libraries, museums, and festivals.

He is the author of the following books:

  • La via del disegno brutto (2019, Terre di Mezzo Editore)
  • Raw Drawing (2019, Pavilion Books)
  • Lavorare meglio disegnando male (2020, Terre di Mezzo Editore)
  • Illustrazione. L’immaginario per professione (2014, Alkemia Books)

He writes about drawing, graphic design, and visual thinking for Doppiozero, Shivu.it, and Pixartprinting.
You can collaborate with him through Disegno Brutto e Working Visually.
