Simona Galassi
World boxing champion
Born in Forlì, Simona Galassi made her debut in kick boxing in 1995, to devote herself solely to boxing since 2001. This discipline - also the protagonist of her thesis for her bachelor's degree in exercise science - has taken her to the podium dozens of times, making her win three Italian titles, three European golds and three world championships as an amateur and also making her compete in 30 professional matches. In fact, she is a multiple European and world champion in both flyweight and super flyweight.
